The fuel tank, with a 400+ km range, features Dakar Rally-style slimline ergonomics, providing a low center of gravity, neutral handling, and good ground clearance. Durable and resistant to offroad impacts, it shields against dirt and spray, emphasizing both style and practicality for riders ready to explore further.
With 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels, the Norden 901 is versatile for tarmac and rough trails. Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tires ensure confidence with grip on various surfaces. The wire-spoked, tubeless wheel design prioritizes lightness and flexibility, minimizing the risk of flat tires. The large wheel diameter enhances the motorcycle's capability to navigate rough terrains, making it well-prepared for diverse riding conditions.
The steel trellis subframe of the Norden 901 is compact, lightweight, and robust, accommodating various loads, from hard luggage to a pillion. The Norden 901 features potent LED lights, including an integrated headlight and standard fog lights inspired by Husqvarna Factory Racing's rally machines. The Norden 901 prioritizes control and comfort with its WP APEX suspension. The 43 mm upside-down front forks provide 220 mm of travel, ensuring faultless performance on any terrain. Adjustable compression and rebound damping allow customization for varying preferences and conditions. The rear shock offers 215 mm of travel and is adjustable for rebound damping and spring preload. The 889 cc parallel-twin engine of the Norden 901, equipped with ride-by-wire throttle, delivers power precisely to meet your demands. Balancer shafts reduce vibration, enhancing riding pleasure. With a maximum output of 77 kW (105 hp) at 8,000 rpm and 100 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, the engine combines power with manageability. Long service intervals of 15,000 km and low fuel consumption make it well-suited for diverse tasks and journeys, offering a reliable and efficient performance.
The Norden 901 features a powerful and controlled braking system for both road and off-road conditions. The Bosch ABS system ensures rapid and precise stopping, and the Husqvarna branded J.Juan brake system brings MotoGP-derived technology. Four-piston radial front calipers act on two Ø 320 mm floating brake discs, providing exceptional feel and feedback. The rear brake features a Ø 260 mm disc and a two-piston floating caliper. The Bosch ABS system can be deactivated at the rear wheel for advanced riders, offering flexibility in braking control.
The steering damper aids stability while riding on harsh street surfaces or when sudden bumps are encountered, while still allowing for easy handlebar control when riding offroad. Additionally, the frame has provision to allow the fitment of a high-performance adjustable off-road steering damper.
The PASC (power assist slipper clutch) on the Norden 901 maximizes rear wheel grip during acceleration and prevents instability when downshifting or braking hard. It reduces hand effort on the clutch during gear changes, resulting in less fatigue and increased riding pleasure for longer durations.
