Husqvarna Servicing FAQ'S

Why choose Lings Motor Group for your vehicle servicing?

The team of technicians at Lings Husqvarna is one of the finest in the region and has access to all the latest tools and equipment. As such, we can provide a level of servicing that is second-to-none.

How much will it cost to service my car or motorcycle?

Servicing costs vary according to needs and model, so you should liaise with a member of the team for an accurate quote on the expected costs.

How often should I service my bike?

It’s usually recommended that your bike is serviced every 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes soonest. However, check your handbook for more details on suitable intervals.

What is an MOT?

The MOT test is an annual inspection of the roadworthiness of your vehicle. It’s a legal requirement for all vehicles aged over three years to hold a valid certificate in order to be road legal.

What happens if my car or motorcycle fails its MOT?

In the event of MOT failure, Lings Husqvarna will provide a full report detailing the reasons why. We can then offer to make the necessary repairs and re-test for an additional cost.

Do you service electric or hybrid vehicles?

Yes, we service Hybrid and Electric Cars. Lings Motor Group have received Electric Car Approved (EVA) accreditation, from the NFDA. This recognises dealers excellence in the electric vehicle sector, including servicing. An electric car does need servicing at the same intervals as any car and like any car, an MOT will be needed after three years.

I have a service booked in. Can I bring my vehicle in the day before?

Simply discuss your drop-off requirements with a member of the Lings Husqvarna team to arrange to drop your vehicle off at a time that is convenient for you.

Can you collect my vehicle?

We can arrange for collection and delivery of your motorcycle for an additional charge. Note that this is only available to local customers and is subject to availability.
