For the meantime, to access the dealership, you will need to come from the Tom Crisp roundabout.
The official diversion will provide a route for larger vehicles and those who are not familiar with the area. Kirkley Run will have additional signage indicating local access only. We ask people to be considerate when using alternative routes and diversions that have been put in place.
These temporary changes may inconvenience people as they travel around the area. We thank everyone for your continued support and patience as essential works are undertaken to build this new road and bridge that will bring benefits to the town for decades to come.
If you have any queries regarding getting to our dealership, feel free to contact the team on Contact Us here or call 01502 537444.
The closure is taking place due to entering a key phase of construction of the Gull Wing, with a significantly larger work area and increased traffic. Management of this area is complex, with re-routing of utilities, new drainage, road widening, construction of a new roundabout and a new access road junction with Waveney Drive.
Closing a section of Waveney Drive is the most efficient and least disruptive available and importantly, the safest option for the public and our workforce. It will also help maintain access to residents’ driveways and local businesses.
