How much will it cost to service my motorcycle?

How often should I service my bike?

We recommend that you service your motorcycle every 12 months in order to help preserve its condition and to maintain resale value.

What is an MOT?

The annual MOT test is a legal requirement for all vehicles aged over three years. It checks the roadworthiness of any model and should be conducted at an authorised test centre.

What happens if my motorcycle fails its MOT?

All MOT details will be provided in a report, while a member of our team can advise on the costs of any repair work needed to get your model through a re-test.

I have a service booked in. Can I bring my vehicle in the day before?

Yes. Simply liaise with a member of the aftersales team to make arrangements for dropping your motorcycle off during working hours.

Can you collect my vehicle?

What we have collected
P.F.K.Ling Ltd (We / Us /Lings Motor Group) will be what’s known as the ‘Data Controller’ of the personal data you will provide to us for this request. We have collected;
your name,
your billing and delivery postal addresses, phone (including mobile phone) and e-mail details;
where you have registered with us, your user name and password;
your communication and shopping preferences;
your browsing and shopping activities;
your date of birth;
your location;
where you place an order with us, your payment card details, working with a PCI compliant partner.

Why we need it and what we do with it
We collect your personal data in order to process your enquiry/purchase. If you fail to provide this data, we may not be able to process this enquiry accordingly. If you have chosen not to receive marketing via email, your email address will only be used to allow us to send you a confirmation receipt that we have received this enquiry. Lings Motor Group has determined the lawful basis for processing this data as Art. 6 GDPR Lawfulness of processing, Section 1 (a). The data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purposes.

The Data collected will be stored within our CRM, and will only be shared with third parties associated to this website, for the purposes of dealing with this enquiry. We will not collect any personal data from you we do not need in order to provide and oversee this service to you. All the personal data we process is processed by our staff in the UK.

The information collected is never used for automated decision-making, including profiling. Where we have collected your marketing preferences, we will use the lawful basis of consent for the processing of this data.
