Easy Suspension Adjustment
The 2024 KTM SX lineup offers tool-free suspension setup at both ends. The shock absorber's dual compression control allows for quick adjustments to high- and low-speed settings. Front fork adjustments are equally easy with a single air pressure preload valve and accessible click adjusters for compression and rebound. An air pump is included for added convenience.
Electronic Fuel Injection
Electronic fuel injection replaces pre-mixing in the 2-stroke KTM SX range, eliminating the need for complex jetting setups before races. Keihin EFI and a reed valve case design ensure consistent power delivery at any altitude.
EFI & Power Valve
The KTM 300 SX benefits from electronic fuel injection and a Power Valve, delivering smoother and more usable power across the rev range, translating to improved traction and better holeshot performance.

Selectable Maps
The 2024 KTM 300 SX includes a map select switch, offering two distinct engine maps. Map 1 provides a predictable, linear power delivery, while Map 2 delivers full-throttle, explosive power output.
Absolute Control
The 2024 KTM SX and SX-F models deliver absolute control on challenging tracks through their frame design, emphasizing longitudinal rigidity and centralizing rotating mass for improved cornering traction. Additionally, the shock mounting enhances anti-squat behavior, while the inward footpeg placement reduces the risk of snags in ruts and during jumps.
Ergonomics
The 2024 KTM SX and SX-F range offers improved rider ergonomics, featuring a rider triangle that enhances knee contact, especially when standing on the pegs. Enhanced grip surfaces and mud-expelling plastics cater to wet and muddy conditions. A flatter seat profile and high-grip seat cover ensure exceptional rider mobility and control, while a polyamide reinforced aluminum subframe enhances rider feedback.
Mass Centralization
The 2024 KTM 300 SX engine prioritizes mass centralization, resulting in a lighter and more agile handling experience for superior performance.
WP XACT Fork
The 48mm air-type WP XACT front fork with split damping offers confidence on the track. Hydrostops in the fork legs improve resistance to bottoming out and reduce rebound during aggressive maneuvers. Redesigned fork protection rings provide enhanced dirt protection and reliability.
Stability
The 2024 KTM 300 SX guarantees rock-solid stability at any speed thanks to repositioned and forged steering head connections and CNC-milled triple clamps made from high-grade aluminum. These components ensure optimal steering stem stiffness, precise fork tube alignment, and precise fork clamp geometry, resulting in highly responsive and smooth fork action, as well as unwavering stability during challenging conditions.
