The Vitpilen 801 is a highly capable and dynamic roadster that delivers a riding experience like nothing before it. Taking design inspiration from the Swedish heritage of the brand, this beautifully crafted, modern motorcycle is characterised by its LED projector lens headlight, which features a surrounding light ring for an unmistakable look. Pure performance comes from the 105 hp, parallel-twin engine with multiple electronic rider aids tailoring the delivery for a customised set-up. Personalisation extends to the premium, adjustable WP suspension and a choice of up to four ride modes that ensure the Vitpilen 801 is accessible to a broad range of riders.
With a roadster-inspired design, the Vitpilen 801 only features essential bodywork that wraps tightly around the upper frame to create a close connection between the rider and the machine. The unique and progressive styling is boosted by the striking graphics and contrasting tones that combine to exude a distinctive appearance. Up front, and giving the Vitpilen 801 a progressive identity, a Bi-LED headlight sits proudly and lights up the road when the sun goes down.
The Vitpilen 801 delivers advanced agility and stability through its compact tubular steel frame, with its geometry developed for a new breed of street motorcycle. Strong and light hydro-formed components are laser cut and robot welded to ensure precision and durability while a calculated balance of flex and rigidity offers outstanding feedback.
The Vitpilen 801 is powered by a compact, 799 cc parallel-twin engine that produces 105 hp. Advanced engineering techniques used to build the engine, including active crankcase evacuation and semi dry-sump lubrication, ensure exceptional efficiency in addition to delivering outstanding performance and durability, with service intervals set at 15,000 km.
Premium WP suspension provides advanced performance when riding through urban environments and on faster, flowing roads. The easily adjustable 43 mm WP APEX open cartridge front forks offer 140 mm of travel and the option to customise the compression and rebound settings. A WP rear shock, connected directly to the die-cast aluminium swingarm for optimised flex and stability, features 150 mm of travel for maximum comfort and the option to fine-tune the rebound and preload.
