ENGINE

The TC 250 engine features the latest 2-stroke architectural advancements, aimed at centralising rotating masses and reducing vibration, while delivering the highest level of performance in its class. The simplicity and low maintenance cost of the 2-stroke motor has made it a favourite amongst motocross riders for generations.

CYLINDER

The 66.4 mm bore cylinder features an innovative power valve system, which delivers smooth and controlled power throughout the RPM range. The exhaust port now also features a machined finished for improved port timing and performance.

CRANKCASE

The TC 250 engine is designed with mass centralisation in mind. As a result, the lightweight, die-cast engine casings are engineered to house a compact shaft arrangement, keeping oscillating mass low and centred, adding to the overall balance, agility and ride-ability.

COUNTER BALANCER SHAFT

The TC 250 features an innovative laterally mounted counter balancer shaft. This shaft significantly reduces engine vibration, resulting in a smoother and more comfortable ride.

WP XACT FRONT SUSPENSION

The 48 mm split air fork features a capsulated air spring and pressurised oil chamber for progressive and consistent damping. Extended oil and air bypasses reduce pressure peaks and new 10mm shorter cartridges and outer tubes provide refined rigidity. In combination with a new midvalve damping system, the fork provides exceptional feedback and rider comfort. The setting is easily adjusted via the single air pressure pre-load valve, as well as through easy access click adjusters for compression and rebound. Additionally, the air pump needed to adjust the fork's air pressure is provided as standard.

WP XACT REAR SUSPENSION

With updated settings, the WP XACT rear shock provides advanced damping characteristics for unsurpassed traction and energy absorption. A pressure balance inside the shock ensures consistent damping, resulting in superior rider comfort and feeling.

MAGURA HYDRAULIC CLUTCH

The reliable, high quality and German-made, MAGURA clutch system is near maintenance-free. This guarantees even wear and perfect modulation in all conditions, with constantly compensated modulation and play on the lever, so the pressure point and clutch remains consistent in cold or hot conditions as well as over time.

FRAME

Precision engineered for an exact balance of stiffness and torsional flex, the frame features advanced geometries aimed at delivering accurate rider feedback, handling response, energy absorption and straight-line stability. The frame is finished off in a premium blue powder coating and standard frame protectors for superior protection and durability.

CARBON FIBRE SUBFRAME

Made from 70% polyamide and 30% carbon fibre, the unique subframe features an intelligent 2-piece design delivering exceptional strength and durability at an overall weight of just over 1 kg. Specific care is taken to create the perfect rigidity for optimal handling and rider comfort.

EXHAUST HEADER

The header pipe on the 2021 TC 250 is designed using innovative 3D modelling. The result is a perfect shape aimed at delivering the optimum performance characteristics while also being very compact ensuring sufficient clearance in tight rutted corners.

WHEELS AND TYRES

CNC-machined hubs and high-strength alloy rims by D.I.D are finished in black. They feature laser engraved logos and are fitted with DUNLOP MX33 Motocross tyres which feature a "block-within-a-block" design for progressive cornering and superior traction on a variety of terrain.
