STYLE

All-new graphics spice things up for 2025 with the GASGAS logo emblazoned in black rather than white for a fresh twist. Still red, still durable, and still eye-catching, the distinctive design is applied using IML technology. This means they're applied within the bodywork so your GASGAS will stay looking super fresh for a lon​g, long time, even if you ride in gnarly conditions week after week.

Get on the gas and hold on tight! Not too tight though as nobody likes arm pump... But to make sure the ride is comfortable, NEKEN handlebars are clamped into redesigned bar mounts (they're more resistant to twisting if you should hit the deck), with lock-on style, medium compound ODI grips fitted to create a comfy set-up to suit all riders.

Less time working on bikes means more time riding bikes, which is precisely why you'll love the straightforward, no tools and no-nonsense filter mounting system. With a stronger one-piece design for the air intake in 2025, maximum airflow is guaranteed, and you know what that means... maximum power! Like before, accessing the air filter to inspect or replace it couldn't be easier. Simply pop the left side panel off and you'll be inside the airbox in no time.

The fuel tank sits neatly inside the vibrant red bodywork and for 2025 a beefier rubber tank support underneath helps hold it firmly in place while protecting the frame from wear. With an integrated fuel pump inside the tank allowing for it to be emptied further, long motos around deep sand tracks aren't a problem for this GASGAS!

Bigger is better when it comes to footpegs. That's precisely why they not only have a larger surface area for maximum grip, but we've also made them less likely to catch on the edges of deep ruts, which mean no loss to forward momentum. The pegs are also light and prevent mud from building up. So, no matter how gnarly the track gets, you'll stay in complete control.

HANDLING

So much testing and development went into designing and building the frame last year, but our engineers have worked on refining things even further! Thanks to brand new, lighter, motor mounts, the flex characteristics of the frame are improved without any sacrifice to straight-line stability. Around the upper shock mount a little material has been removed while the wall thickness at the front of the frame is also slightly reduced, saving 300g. With all these revisions, which were tested by Red Bull GASGAS Factory Racing in MXGP, the bike is now much more settled through every corner.

The all-aluminium subframe is light, strong, and works as one with the new frame by helping to centralise mass and contributing massively to the bike's outstanding handling characteristics.

Forged aluminium triple clamps offer just the right amount of calculated flex thanks to a more forgiving steering stem. The triple clamps align the fork tubes perfectly for a smooth action, which improves front wheel feedback and leads to predictable handling on any track and any terrain. The adjustable bar mounts with the slightly larger contact area against the handlebars reduce the chance of the bars twisting. A glass bead blasted finish means the triple clamps always look as good as new.

Updated frames for every GASGAS motocross model in 2025 means new settings for the 48mm, split air WP XACT forks. Continuing to be easily adjustable by hand on the outside, on the inside, a capsulated air spring and pressurised oil chamber take care of delivering consistent damping. By using an air spring, a customised set-up can be created easily as this bike includes an air pump to adjust the pressure. And, for those who like to go big on the jumps, a hydrostop in the forks help maintain forward momentum by taking the sting out of every heavy landing.

With no less than 300mm of travel, the WP XACT rear shock soaks up the biggest of bumps with ease. For 2025, the performance of the shock is taken up a notch thanks to the new, lower friction seals in the linkage and a smaller diameter linkage bolt, to reduce a little weight. Both revisions were put to the test in MXGP, so you know they'll make a difference. Because of the new frame, the shock's settings have been revised to deliver the best damping straight from the showroom floor. However, creating a customised set-up remains super simple as adjustments can still be made quickly by hand.

Cast from one piece of aluminium, the swingarm on this GASGAS certainly looks the business! A new, stronger chain slider improves durability and keeps the chain running smoother for longer. At the rear of the swingarm you'll find a chain guide with a rounded profile to help it glide over the ground as you lay the bike over through deeply rutted turns. Finally, clear chain adjustment markings ensure quick and easy maintenance

MOTOR 

Big power on tap! The MC 450F delivers monstrous amounts of torque and peak power from its compact SOHC motor. And as Jorge Prado proved in 2023, we don't need to tell you that the MC 450F absolutely rips! But thanks to a little engineering wizardry and by being perfectly positioned inside the frame, the motor centralises mass for superior handling. In short, this bike rides and handles like a dream.​

Cylinder Head: The DOHC cylinder head is a powerhouse of features. Designed for peak performance, it boasts larger titanium exhaust valves, Diamond-like Carbon-coated finger followers, and improved sealing gasket. The bike's revving capacity up to 14,000rpm generates substantial power.

CYLINDER & PISTON: The MC 450F's power stems from its lightweight aluminum cylinder and CP piston. With a compression ratio of 13.1:1, the motor generates impressive peak power, sure to leave an impact.​

Transmission: Crafted by PANKL Racing Systems, the revamped transmission incorporates a redesigned shift shaft and low-friction-coated shifting fork for impeccable gear shifts, even under load. The five-speed gearbox offers seamless operation, aided by a dirt-preventing lever design.

Crankshaft: The MC 450F's durable crankshaft boasts 90-hour service intervals, optimal for performance and longevity. Positioned to centralise oscillating masses, it contributes to the bike's agile and lightweight feel.

Crankcase: Redesigned crankcases are thin, strong, and lightweight due to high-pressure casting. They provide a secure housing for internal components, ensuring centralised placement for peak performance.

 Exhaust System: The exhaust system prioritizes optimal performance with minimal weight. The two-piece header pipe wraps neatly around the motor, leading to a compact aluminium silencer that adheres to FIM sound regulations.

DS Clutch: The MC 450F features a reliable Diaphragm Steel (DS) clutch, contributing to the compact engine design. A CNC-machined clutch basket with a single diaphragm steel pressure plate replaces traditional coil springs, ensuring longevity.

PARTS

Fast is fun but slowing down is essential, which is why all GASGAS dirt bikes are fitted with high quality Braktec calipers and controls. Speaking of controls, the rear brake pedal is now considerably stronger to prevent it from getting bent out of shape in a crash or catching the ground when you're railing through a deep rut. When you combine those Braktec calipers with GASGAS specific brake disks, 260mm up front and 220mm at the rear, the end result is amazing braking performance. This all means that all riders can stay on the gas longer and brake later into corners. And we all know what that leads to... faster lap times​!

Hydraulic Clutch: Braktec's hydraulic clutch requires minimal adjustment and upkeep. Its standout feature is consistent performance, with automatic free-play adjustment at the revamped lever. This maintains a reliable clutch bite and operation, whether cold-starting or in the heat of competition.

Radiators: Robust aluminum radiators cool the engine efficiently, guided by a central tube within the frame. This innovative design minimizes hoses, ensuring steady coolant flow for optimal temperature management during demanding rides.

Wheels: GASGAS wheels are engineered to endure tough conditions. CNC-machined hubs, lightweight spokes, and sturdy EXCEL rims deliver unmatched strength, offering riders peace of mind when tackling rough tracks and heavy landings.

Tires: The Maxxis MaxxCross MX-ST tires remain from the previous generation for a reason. Renowned for versatile terrain performance and impressive durability, these tires minimize the need for frequent replacements, saving time and hassle.

ELECTRONICS

Small, light, and fast at processing data - just what you need from an engine management system! The Keihin component is the best in the business and engages each gear's engine map, includes a rollover sensor that cuts the ignition during big crashes, and feeds information to the hour meter. Plus, if you install a Map Select Switch (available from your local GASGAS dealer as a Technical Accessory), it instantly synchronises for plug and play simplicity and gives your bike Launch Control, Traction Control, the Quickshifter function and a two engine maps for customised power.

Efficient Throttle Body: The MC 450f integrates a 44mm Keihin throttle body, optimizing fuel mixture flow into the combustion chamber. Its direct cable mounting guarantees immediate throttle response, enhancing rider control.

Customizable Power Delivery: The Map Select Switch empowers MC 450f riders to tailor power delivery. A simple button press on the handlebars toggles between two maps. For diverse track conditions, riders can opt for standard map 1 for hardpack surfaces or engage map 2 for sand or muddy tracks.

Convenient Starting: The introduction of an electric starter marks a significant convenience upgrade. With the start button also serving as the engine stop button, space on the handlebars is conserved.
